Global Perspectives on Manhood and Masculinity

This special issue of the Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment will explore the constructs of manhood and masculinity from a global perspective. Given the recently released guidelines for practice with men and boys by the American Psychological Association and its intersection with the socialization of masculinity in western culture, the guest editors seek to provide a global perspective on manhood and masculinity as influenced by different world religions, nationalities, and cultures.  The guest editors seek submission of manuscripts from researchers, scholars, and theologians from different parts, and cultures of the world.
