On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake, with a magnitude of 9.0 devastated Japan and its people. Initiated mainly by huge tsunami following the earthquake, The this unfortunate nuclear accident inflicted severe and widespread damage to Japan.

The Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology (JNST) has published several technical papers related to the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear accident, from its aftermath to present. Over time, scientific research and technical development progressed greatly and provided the research community with greater insights into this incident. 

To commemorate 10-years of the “Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident",  JNST Editorial Committee, together with Taylor and Francis, is pleased to share a selection of current research papers related to the accident.
