Forests and Biodiversity

A special collection by the Journal of Forest Research

Enjoy free access to selected articles via this page only until 1st March 2021!

Forests are an important part of the world's ecosystems. They refresh the air we breath, provide shelter to animals as well as offer a source of materials for our everyday. Often, we forget their importance to us and to the world we live in. However, the reality of climate change and the loss of biodiversity has reignited a passion to protect these lands.

In commemoration of the International Day of Forests on 21st March 2020, the Journal of Forest Research has put together a special collection of articles to celebrate the importance of forests. Articles have been selected in relation to this year's theme of 'Forests and Biodiversity'. Spread the word by sharing this article collection this #IntForestDay because they are truly too precious to be lost.
