Welcoming Proposals for Special Issues and Article Submissions
The International Journal of Science Education (IJSE) is firmly established as an authoritative voice in the world of science education. It bridges the gap between research and practice, providing information, ideas and opinion. Special emphasis is placed on applicable research relevant to educational practice, guided by educational realities in systems, schools, colleges and universities. The journal comprises empirical research papers, papers on innovations and developments, position papers, theoretical papers and letters to the editors. From time to time, a Special Issue is devoted to a topic of major interest and importance, guest-edited by an acknowledged expert.
The IJSE welcomes proposals for future Special Issues. If you have a concept for an issue of the journal and would be happy to take on the responsibility of guest editing that issue, please get in touch with the journal editor:
Professor Jan van Driel, Melbourne Graduate School of Education, The University of Melbourne
Also Welcoming Article Submissions
IJSE is concerned with science education. Any submissions that are concerned with science (as distinct with science education) or with general educational matters will not be sent for review. Authors with any questions about the likely acceptability of a paper are invited to contact the Editor-in-Chief before making a submission.
For instructions on how to submit your paper, visit the Instructions for Authors page of the journal website.
