About the role

Taylor & Francis is seeking applications for a new Editor of Immunological Investigations (2019 Impact Factor 2.511)!  

Qualified candidates will possess an academic background in immunology, as well as the passion to drive the journal forward in an exciting period of change. It is a significant role, with high profile, but one that is achievable within a continuing busy working clinician and researcher timetable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editorial oversight and decision-making on submissions. He, or she, will have authority to accept articles following successful peer review, and will ensure that reviewers and authors adhere to the Journal’s Code of Publishing Ethics. There will be an agreed handover period with the out-going Editor-in-Chief to ensure seamless transition.

Taylor & Francis will provide remuneration for the role. Taylor & Francis will also organize regular board meetings, and we will supply annual reports reflecting on the performance of the Journal. The Journal utilises an online editorial office system, ScholarOne. Training can be arranged.

About the journal

Disseminating immunological developments on a worldwide basis, Immunological Investigations encompasses all facets of fundamental and applied immunology, including immunohematology and the study of allergies. This journal provides information presented in the form of original research articles and book reviews, giving a truly in-depth examination of the latest advances in molecular and cellular immunology.

  • This position may be available as a co-editorship – please note your interest in this in your application.

 

The role will formally begin from January 2021.
