About the Role
Would you like to be a Section Editor for Immunology?
Annals of Medicine, an open access, MEDLINE-indexed journal publishing across all areas of medicine, is looking for a Section Editor to act as an editorial lead for our Immunology section.
The Section Editor will have the passion to drive the journal forward in an exciting period of change. It is a significant role, but one that is achievable alongside a full time role and other commitments. The successful candidate will be responsible for editorial oversight and decision-making on submissions, working in collaboration with an allergy specialist Section Editor. They will have the authority to accept articles following successful peer review, and will ensure that reviewers and authors adhere to the Journal’s Code of Publishing Ethics.
Taylor & Francis will provide a remuneration for the role. Taylor & Francis will also organize board meetings, and supply regular reporting reflecting the performance of the Journal. The Journal utilizes an online editorial office system and all submissions and peer review are handled via the ScholarOne website. Becoming a Section Editor of the journal is a rewarding and fulfilling experience, where you will build your own networks, promote the research that you are passionate about, and be recognized as a leading figure within the academic community.

- Confidence to engage with authors and researchers to solicit quality submissions
- Strong organizational skills to ensure that you retain oversight of submissions within your section and their timely handling
- The ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues such as Associate Editors
