Human Fertility is converting to Open Access.
I am so excited that Human Fertility is finally going Open Access. The sharing and dissemination of research is key for better patient care. By widening access to everyone, Human Fertility will play its role in improving care of anyone requiring fertility treatment across the world. It will also help in training next generation.

Meet the Editor in Chief
Abha Maheshwari has been the Editor in Chief of Human Fertility since January 2023. She is a consultant in Reproductive Medicine at the Aberdeen Fertility Centre.
She is also the clinical lead for Fertility Scotland (a national network) and the clinical lead for Reproductive Health and Childbirth for National Research Scotland after having had personal fellowships from Chief Scientist Office for working on safety and efficacy of Assisted Reproduction.
She strongly believes in delivering excellence in training, research and clinical service, hand in hand within a clinical setup.
About The Journal
Human Fertility, the journal of the British Fertility Society, was launched in 1998 and is a leading international, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to furthering research and promoting good practice in the areas of human fertility and infertility.
The journal publishes research on a range of topics related to human fertility, from molecular medicine to healthcare delivery.
We are excited to see the journal move to an open access publishing model, which will enable new research developments published in the journal to be read by everyone. The more widely research is shared and disseminated, the better care we can provide for patients. By providing access to everyone, Human Fertility will play its role in it improving the care of anyone requiring fertility treatment across the world.
From 22nd August 2023, all manuscript submissions to the journal will be made on an open access basis. We look forward to receiving your submissions and hope that you will join us in embracing this new open access chapter for the journal.
