Make an Impact
The International Association for the Study of German Politics’ flagship journal, German Politics, is seeking to widen the lens through which we study political life in the Federal Republic. We welcome submissions relating to topics often overlooked by those studying “high politics” in Germany, including but certainly not limited to:
- political participation by Afro-Germans, migrants, or other minorities
- efforts to address Germany’s colonial past
- organizing attempts by economically or otherwise marginalized groups
- other issues that would broaden the empirical or theoretical scope of the study of German politics
The IASGP offers small grant funding to Association members which may help cover research costs; for more details visit: www.iasgp.org/funding-opportunities. The journal welcomes submissions by junior scholars and can try to facilitate pre-submission mentoring by a senior expert in the field.
