Call for Papers: Ethics and COVID-19
Given the COVID-19 situation many psychologists and other practitioners are transitioning their practices to online formats and are changing the way that they interact with clients. Some universities have suspended research activity and many have transitioned all their courses to online formats. Some universities have also switched their grading systems for this semester to pass or fail (instead of assigning a grade).
What are the ethical implications of these types of changes for practitioners, therapy clients, students, research and research participants? How can policy makers ethically balance mental health with the need to flatten the COVID-19 infection curve through self-isolation?
This is an Ethics & Behavior call for articles that address the aforementioned questions from an ethics stand point. We will aim for rapid processing and review of articles focusing on COVID-19 issues that are related to the mandate of our journal.
