Emerging and Re-emerging Coronaviruses

Emerging Microbes and Infections

Guest Editor: Dr. Susan R Weiss, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, USA

Emerging and re-emerging coronaviruses, including Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS-CoV), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and the latest “Wuhan Coronavirus” may cause epidemics or potentially pandemics of highly pathogenic human infectious diseases, posing great threats to the global health.

EMI's Special Issue on Emerging and Re-emerging Coronaviruses covers research and review articles on the basic, translational and clinical studies related to these coronaviruses. As an Open Access journal, all articles in EMI are fully downloadable.
