Recruiting for Forum Editor, Political Communication

Political Communication

01 October 2023

About the role

Political Communication is seeking the next editor for The Forum, a position currently held by founding editor Michael Wagner of the University of Wisconsin. Established in 2016, The Forum is designed to address current political communication-related issues in a flexible format that allows scholars to respond to major real-world developments on a more rapid basis than traditional scholarly publishing typically permits.

The Forum Editor works independently to identify topics for each issue; solicit, develop, and review contributions to the Forum (both solicited and unsolicited); check page proofs before publication; and to promote pieces at publication. The Forum Editor collaborates with the editor in chief and associate editors of the journal to ensure consistency of editorial standards and adherence to publication timelines.
