Editor-in-Chief needed for

New journal in food engineering

Deadline
31 May 2024

About the role

Taylor & Francis is launching a new journal which will explore growing subjects at the interface between food, engineering, and technology.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Editor-in-Chief with a strong academic background in food engineering to launch and shape our new journal in this field.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for the oversight and administration of a rigorous peer review process that delivers an agreed amount of content of suitable scope and quality within an agreed publication timeframe.

As this is a new launch title, the Editor-in-Chief will also be expected to provide insight into our commissioning strategy, promote the journal through their own network and suggest further development initiatives to support the viability of the new launch.

Becoming the editor of a journal is a rewarding and fulfilling experience where you have the opportunity to build your own networks, develop and promote the research in your field, and be recognized as a leading figure within the academic community.

We also welcome Editorial Board Member applications.

About the journal

This new journal will publish original research and review papers on any subject at the interface between food, engineering and technology disciplines. We envisage this title will highlight both novel technologies and industrial solutions for the food industry.
