Associate Editor - Community Healthcare needed for
Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare
About the role
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare is seeking an Associate Editor for a new section on Community Healthcare.
We welcome applications from academics with a strong record in multidisciplinary team research.
This is an excellent opportunity for engaged subject matter experts who will contribute to the strategic growth of the journal by supporting our editorial leadership, acting as ambassadors within the research community, and helping shape the journal’s future direction.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Editors and Publisher with specialist expertise on an ad hoc basis to ensure the journal remains at the forefront of the discipline.
- Act as a reviewer for manuscripts within your field of expertise on occasion, ensuring high standards of scholarly rigour.
- Actively promote the journal within your professional networks and represent the title at key industry events and conferences.
- Proactively contribute your own research and collaborate on the development of high-impact Special Issues and article collections.
- Participate in annual Editorial Board meetings to discuss performance metrics and plans for the journal’s long-term development.

About the Journal
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare aims to publish research in healthcare areas delivered by practitioners of all disciplines. This includes studies and reviews conducted by multidisciplinary teams (involving several academic or professional specializations) as well as research that evaluates or reports on the conduct and functionality of such teams and healthcare processes.
The journal covers a very wide range of therapeutic and practice areas and we welcome submissions from healthcare providers representing all specialties across the world, who collaborate using an interdisciplinary approach.
As these research fields are pivotal across all matters of human health, the journal seeks to highlight crucial and quality research from experts that can be reflected in clinical and practical application across a variety of healthcare settings.

- Oversee the peer review process for assigned manuscripts, including selecting appropriate reviewers.
- Make recommendations for manuscript acceptance or revision.
- Assist in the development of themed issues and collections.
- Provide expert advice on emerging trends and topics within the field.
- Attend Editorial Board meetings and support the journal with development strategies.
