Data Fusion for Ubiquitous Positioning
International Journal of Image and Data Fusion（Special Issue）
Positioning and navigation services play an important role in improving urban safety, public services and product consumption. In terms of industry applications, it has been widely used in public security, transportation, fisheries, electrical power, forestry, and disaster reduction, providing technical support for smart cities and social development.
This special issue will focus on the "positioning" part of the Journal’s title, where special attention is given to the positioning technology and application of data fusion. The special Issue is open for contributions related but not limited to the following topics:
- Theory and method of precise positioning and navigation
- Precise positioning technology in degraded environment
- Ubiquitous positioning and internet of things
- Indoor mobile mapping and location-based services
- Robot/driverless location technology
- Indoor/outdoor seamless positioning based on multiple sensors
- Seamless location technology of surface/underground based on multiple sensors
- Emergency location and location based service technology
Manuscripts are to be submitted by February 1st, 2020 through the standard submission process of International Journal of Image and Data Fusion. Please read the Aims & Scope, Instructions for Authors and to submit to the journal please use the buttons below.

The papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process. As soon as accepted, papers will be firstly published online continuously and the first six papers accepted will be listed together as the Special Issue. All other papers that are subsequently accepted will be included in the regular issues of the journal.
There is no charge for publication in this journal.
