Call for Papers

Female Serial Killers

Deadline: 2 July 2019

Contributions are invited that examine the female killer in contemporary society. Papers may explore the implications of portrayals in the media and fiction; how understanding of such killers has developed over the centuries; or how they are dealt with by the criminal justice system. It seeks high quality contributions to review and analyse these phenomena. Quantitative or qualitative studies, case studies, or critical literature reviews, or welcome. Well-informed scholarly essays are also welcome.

Manuscripts should follow the usual instructions for electronic submission of papers to Contemporary Social Science. Authors should indicate from the pull-down menu in the online system that they wish the manuscript to be reviewed for inclusion in this themed issue.

The Editor of this issue would be happy to review plans for papers in advance of their receipt. All papers will be peer reviewed.
