About The Journal

Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization is an international journal whose main goals are to promote solutions of excellence for both imaging and visualization of biomedical data, and establish links among researchers, clinicians, the medical technology sector and end-users.

The journal provides a comprehensive forum for discussion of the current state-of-the-art in the scientific fields related to imaging and visualization.

The journal welcomes contributions covering theories, methodologies, devices and applications of imaging and visualization.

With the increase in demand for open access in the subject field and the intention of the journal to further expand it’s impact within the research community, we believe it is the right time for the journal to convert to fully open access. This transition will ensure that the research published in the journal will be disseminated freely to anyone, anywhere.

If your institution has an open access agreement with Taylor & Francis you could be eligible for a discounted article publishing charge or, in many cases, to publish open access in your chosen journal at no cost to yourself.
