Call for Reviewers

Reviewing for Cities & Health, a joint endeavour

Cities & Health views each of our reviewers as part of a network, itself building a transdisciplinary community, supporting a new field of research and action supporting the aims of the journal.

If you are interested in joining us, please register as a reviewer.

You can add yourself to the journal’s reviewer list by registering an account on the journal’s Editorial Manager site: http://www.edmgr.com/citiesandhealth/

Please provide at least three keywords for the types of papers you would like to see, and any other information to help editors match papers to your interests. You will automatically be added to the reviewer list upon successful registration.

What to expect once registered

When authors submit papers, they are assigned to an editor. The editor will then invite a number of reviewers to comment on the paper. We are looking for a wide range of reviewers, we try and match them by interest. If you receive an invitation to review and a deadline, you can accept or decline. If you accept please complete the review within the deadline but do contact us if you require an extension or have any problems.

The maximum number of invitations you will receive is likely to be three or four a year. It helps us if all reviewers can commit to undertaking a minimum of two reviews a year.
