CHANCE is a non-technical magazine highlighting applications that demonstrate sound statistical practice. CHANCE represents a cultural record of an evolving field, intended to entertain as well as inform.
Do you work in data privacy, with statistical disclosure limitation tools, use sensitive data in your research, are concerned about data sharing, or about impact of privacy methodology on scientific findings and policy? We would love to hear from you!
CHANCE, together with the ASA Committee on Privacy and Confidentiality, is requesting articles for a special issue on data privacy. Topics in all areas of privacy and confidentiality are welcome, including past, present and future directions in statistical disclosure methodology, applications, governance, policy implications, and related issues. We are particularly eager to highlight contributions by new researchers in the field of data privacy.
