Call for papers – AIDSImpact conference 2019

AIDSImpact is an international behavioural and psychosocial science conference that addresses issues related to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care, focusing both globally and on specific communities and countries hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. This year, the conference comes to London (29-31st July 2019). All abstracts accepted to the conference are also eligible to the be submitted to a commissioned supplement of the AIDS Care journal due to be published in early 2020.

AIDS Care provides an authoritative forum from the beginning of the epidemic for publishing critical, cutting edge and state of the art research, reviews and reports from the many complementary disciplines involved in the AIDS and HIV field in one key source. This peer-reviewed journal reaches a number of disciplines including psychology, sociology, epidemiology, social work and anthropology, social aspects of medicine, nursing, education, health education, law, administration and counselling (including various approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychotherapy and family therapy).

Submission guidelines

Deadline for submission to the supplement is Monday 30th September 2019.

Both short reports (1500 words) and original manuscripts will be eligible for submission to the journal. Please see the journal website for specific preparation guidelines (https://www.tandfonline.com/loi/caic20).
