New in Open Access
Taylor & Francis is excited to introduce Channels as the newest addition to our series of open access journals.
Channels is an open access journal for all aspects of ion channel research. The journal publishes high quality papers that shed new light on ion channel and ion transporter/exchanger function, structure, biophysics, pharmacology, and regulation in health and disease. Channels welcomes interdisciplinary approaches that address ion channel physiology in areas such as neuroscience, cardiovascular sciences, cancer research, endocrinology, and gastroenterology. Our aim is to foster communication among the ion channel and transporter communities and facilitate the advancement of the field.
What are the advantages of publishing open access?
Increase readership: As your article is freely available, anyone, anywhere in the world can read, download and share your research paper.
Impact beyond your field: Your research can be read by those outside academia, meaning it could inform and develop public policy, or even be picked up by the media!
Retain the copyright to your article: By using a Creative Commons License, you can choose how others use and build on your work. You can also share your final published article any way you want: you can talk about it on social media, include it on academic networking sites and send it to your colleauges in the field.
