The Royal Musical Association Research Chronicle announces a new editorial direction. Still the leading platform for long articles requiring extensive apparatus — photos, catalogues, indexes, transcriptions, maps, video links, and much else — the Chronicle is seeking to publish new and outstanding research in all areas of music including ethnomusicology, music psychology and popular music.
All articles published in the RMA Research Chronicle have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.
The Royal Musical Association Research Chronicle accepts articles of up to 20,000 words with extensive apparatus.
