About Cancer Survivorship Research & Care

Cancer Survivorship Research & Care is a new open access journal from Taylor & Francis. It is focused on disseminating research findings and innovative practice models as quickly and widely as possible.

Approximately 100 million individuals globally or 1.3% of the world’s population have a personal history of cancer. With cancer cases projected to increase globally by 60% in 2040, and cancer treatments becoming more effective, the number of cancer survivors is projected to increase significantly.

But for many survivors, life after cancer is associated with significant morbidity, distress and risks premature death, not just from cancer but comorbid conditions; with significant disparities in health outcomes across different regions around the globe.

The journal advances innovations and global public policy dialogue, to improve outcomes for cancer survivors around the world.
