In collaboration with the Canadian Pain Society, the Canadian Journal of Pain is pleased to announce the Ronald Melzack – Canadian Journal of Pain Paper of the Year Award / Prix Ronald Melzack Pour L’Annee Des Articles Parus Dans La Revue Canadienne De La Douleur.
Each year, one representative from each winning paper (basic/pre-clinical sciences and applied/clinical sciences) will be honored at the Canadian Pain Society Annual Meeting Awards Dinner. The winning papers will be selected by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board, from all Canadian Journal of Pain articles with a publication date from the previous year. The prize for the awardees will be a ticket to the Gala dinner at the Annual Meeting and a voucher waiving article processing fees for a manuscript submitted to the Canadian Journal of Pain in the current year.
We are pleased to announce the winning paper for 2018! Congratulations to Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos and colleagues for their article on "Effectiveness, acceptability and feasibility of an Internet-delivered cognitive behavioral pain management program in a routine online therapy clinic in Canada"
