About the Role
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for Managing the Editorial team and the following:
Framing journal editorial policy jointly with Taylor and Francis, working with the Editorial Team and Editorial Board on development plans and indexing strategies.
Ensuring an adequate flow of material to meet publication schedules.
Working with the Editorial Team and Editorial Board to commission and edit Special Issues.
Assisting in the appointment of other members of the Editorial Team for the journal.
Distributing promotional material for the journal at conferences and on social media.
Managing the peer-review process and delivering decisions on the acceptance or rejection of articles submitted to the journal via an online submission system in a timely manner.
Ensuring that reviewers and authors adhere to the Journal’s Code of Publishing Ethics.
Chairing Editorial Board Meetings.
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in the peer-review and editorial process and is committed to delivering timely decisions in the peer-review process.
