JBFL is looking for a new Editor-in-Chief with an academic background in Business and Finance Librarianship, as well as the passion to drive the journal forward.
The successful candidate will be responsible for editorial oversight and decision-making on submissions. They will have authority to accept articles following successful peer review and will ensure that reviewers and authors adhere to the Journal’s Code of Publishing Ethics.
Becoming the editor of a journal is a rewarding and fulfilling experience where you will build your own networks, promote the research that you are passionate about, and be recognized as a leading figure within the academic community.

Someone who is an active member of the business librarian professional community.
Ability to leverage their professional network to build a strong base of authors and reviewers from around the world.
Confidence to engage with authors and researchers to solicit the highest quality submissions.
Professional passion and the desire to maintain JBFL’s key role in the discipline.
The ability to foster positive working relationships with Editorial Board Members.
A vision and enthusiasm for the continuous development and transformation of the journal.

About the Journal
The Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship is a quarterly, refereed journal covering topics related to business information and business researchers. The focus of the journal is practice-oriented articles, but it also provides an outlet for new empirical studies. In addition to articles, JBFL offers valuable interviews as well as book, database, and website reviews.
Our core audience is comprised of business librarians working in special libraries, academic libraries, and public libraries, as well as business information centers outside of the traditional library setting. The journal is international in scope, reflecting the multinational and international span of the business research community today.

‘Excellence in Peer Review: Taylor & Francis Reviewer Training Network’ was launched in 2019 to support researchers in becoming more effective peer reviewers. This training network is aimed at giving clear practical advice to researchers to improve the quality of the reviews they provide, as well as introducing the key principles to those who are newer to the review process.
