Call For Editor-in-Chief

CALL FOR CO-EDITORS

Taylor & Francis is recruiting a new Editor-in-Chief for the journal Food Reviews International.

Food Reviews International is a high-quality, specialized journal that focuses on state-of-the-art technical reviews concerned with food safety, production, processing, acceptability, and nutritional values. Articles, written primarily by researchers and practitioners, examine the relationship of food and nutrition to health, as well as the differing problems affecting both affluent and developing nations. We are looking for a new Editor-in-Chief with an academic background in food science and the passion to drive the journal forward in an exciting period of change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editorial oversight and decision making, employing the Journal's online submission and peer review system, Editorial Manager. He or she will have authority to accept articles following successful peer review and will ensure that reviewers and authors adhere to the Journal's Code of Publishing Ethics. There will be an agreed handover period with the out-going Editor-in-Chief to ensure seamless transition and we will provide the incoming Editor with peer review administration support.

Taylor & Francis will provide generous remuneration for the role to cover any journal-related expenses, full Editorial Manager training and administrative support. Taylor & Francis will organize regular board meetings and we will supply annual reports reflecting on the performance of the Journal.

We will be looking to conduct interviews during April and the role will start June 2019.

Submissions other than technical reviews will not be considered for publication. Offering technical insights into current global food issues, Food Reviews International contains articles of interest for food scientists and technologists, food and cereal chemists, chemical engineers, agriculturists, microbiologists, toxicologists, and nutritionists.
