Call For Communications Editor

Journal of Mathematics and Art

Journal of Mathematics and the Arts is seeking a new Communications Editor to take on responsibility for running the JMA Twitter account (@MathsArts). We hope the successful candidate will also consider how other social media channels can be adopted to share JMA content and promotions with authors and researchers interested in the connections between mathematics and the arts (including, but not limited to, two and three dimensional visual art, architecture, drama (stage, screen, or TV), prose, poetry, and music).

The successful candidate is likely to have experience of using social media channels in either their professional or personal lives. They will be appointed as a member of the JMA Editorial Board and work with the Editor and Publisher to continue building awareness of JMA and connect with the community. As an Editorial Board member, the successful applicant will receive an online subscription to JMA as well as a 30% discount on all Taylor & Francis/CRC Press books.

Journal of Mathematics and the Arts is a peer reviewed journal that focuses on connections between mathematics and the arts. It publishes articles of interest for readers who are engaged in using mathematics in the creation of works of art, who seek to understand art arising from mathematical or scientific endeavors, or who strive to explore the mathematical implications of artistic works.
