Twin Pregnancy in the 21st Century
Twin pregnancy has become increasingly prevalent in recent decades, largely due to assisted reproductive technologies and advanced maternal age. While multiple gestations represent an extraordinary obstetric scenario, they are also associated with heightened risks for both mothers and babies. Advances in maternal-fetal medicine, neonatal care, and perinatal epidemiology offer new opportunities to better understand and manage these complex pregnancies.
