Celebrating Six Decades of the Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan
On behalf of the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to join us as we commemorate six decades since the launch of its flagship publication, Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan (JCEJ). First launched in 1968, the JCEJ’s aim has always been to publish high-quality research to promote the advancement of academic standards in chemical engineering, and to facilitate and provide opportunities to enable cooperation between the industrial, academic and governmental sectors.
In the last decade alone, we have achieved many important milestones introducing the Outstanding Paper Award since 2000, the Best Reviewer Award since 2011, and most recently, the conversion of the JCEJ to full open access. And there is still much more yet to achieve.
To mark this important special event, we have launched this special Collection which promises to be a valuable resource for years to come, with articles published alongside some of our finest hot-topic reviews. While the Call is open to receive manuscripts across the broad spectrum of chemical engineering, the Editors are particularly interested in manuscripts relating to these key areas:
- Physical Properties and Physical Chemistry
- Transport Phenomena and Fluid Engineering
- Particle Engineering
- Separation Engineering
- Thermal Engineering
- Chemical Reaction Engineering
- Process Systems Engineering and Safety
- Biochemical, Food and Medical Engineering
- Micro and Nano Systems
- Materials Engineering and Interfacial Phenomena
- Energy
- Environment
- Engineering Education
All manuscripts submitted to this Article Collection will undergo a full peer-review.
Please review the journal scope and author submission instructions prior to submitting a manuscript.
All accepted submissions to the article collection will be published on a rolling basis, and will start to be published in June 2027 on the Article Collection page on journal’s homepage.
