Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence: Applications, Opportunities, and Challenges in Real Life
Connection Science is pleased to welcome you to submit your research to the Article Collection "Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence: Applications, Opportunities, and Challenges in Real Life".
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) are transforming how we live and work. From automation and data analysis to generating text, images, and code, these technologies are now widely used across fields such as healthcare, cybersecurity, finance, and education. Recent advances in transformer-based models, large language models (LLMs), multimodal systems, and AI agents have enabled more sophisticated reasoning and interaction. As these systems become integrated into everyday applications, it is increasingly important to understand their capabilities, limitations, and real-world impact.
The importance of these areas continues to grow rapidly, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology, industry, and society. Their influence is expanding across disciplines, driving innovation, improving efficiency, and enabling new forms of intelligent systems and services.
This Article Collection welcomes contributions that explore both foundational and applied aspects of AI and GenAI within the scope of the journal. Relevant topics include:
- Transformer-based architectures, foundation models, and large language models (LLMs)
- Generative AI systems and multimodal learning (text, code, image, and speech)
- AI agents, multi-agent systems, and autonomous decision-making frameworks
- Semantic AI, knowledge representation, and natural language understanding
- Graph-enhanced AI, knowledge graphs, and hybrid GNN–LLM models
- AI-driven cybersecurity, malware analysis, threat intelligence, and digital forensics
