Celebrating 50 years of Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Phosphorus, Sulfur, Silicon and the Related Elements (PSSi), we are pleased to announce a special themed collection highlighting recent advances across all areas covered by the journal.

From 1976 to 1988, the journal was published as Phosphorus and Sulfur. In 1989, it was renamed Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements. Over five decades, the journal has evolved from a highly specialized publication focused on phosphorus and sulfur chemistry into an internationally renowned forum encompassing silicon chemistry and related areas of modern main-group chemistry. This evolution reflects both scientific progress in the field and the Editorial Board's ongoing commitment to maintaining the journal's scope, quality, and relevance.

This collection aims to showcase the breadth and impact of research involving phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, and related main-group elements, including—but not limited to—synthetic methodologies, structural chemistry, reactivity, materials science, and applications in medicinal and biological chemistry.
