Dr. Badawy is a pediatric hematology/oncology specialist and his primary areas of interest, clinically, include sickle cell disease and thalassemia. Dr. Badawy's major research focus relates to health services and outcomes research, in particular digital behavioural interventions to monitor and improve medication adherence, health-related quality of life (HRQOL), and other patient-reported outcomes (PROs) among children, adolescents and young adults across chronic health conditions.
