Dr Lazzaro di Biase is a Clinical Neurologist with a PhD in Science of Aging and Tissue Regeneration at the Campus Bio-Medico, University of Rome. He is the Scientific Director of the Brain Innovations Lab at the University. He has clinical and international research experience in the field of neurodegenerative disease and movement disorders. Dr di Biase worked as a clinical researcher in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at Oxford University and University College London, UK and as a visiting doctor in the Movement Disorders Clinic at the Toronto Western Hospital, Canada. His expertise and innovative research in clinical neurology and developing new technologies has led to advances in the differential diagnosis of tremor syndromes, the diagnosis of Parkinson's Syndrome, monitoring and adaptive closed-loop therapy, with four patents filed as inventor. Throughout his career Dr di Biase has received honours and awards from a number of scientific societies in the neurology specialty.
