Meet the Section Editors

Ranjith Ramasamy, MD, University of Miami, Florida, USA

Dr Ramasamy is the Director of Reproductive Urology as well as Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Miami, Florida. He completed his Urology residency training at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr Ramasamy then completed a National Institutes of Health sponsored fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2020 Dr Ramasamy was awarded the Ira and Esther Rosenwaks new investigator award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). As a Urologist and a Microsurgeon, Dr Ramasamy specializes and conducts research in the treatment of disorders of male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and prostate cancer modalities.

Orsolya Cseprekal, MD, PhD, Department of Transplantation and Surgery, Semmelweis University, Hungary

Dr Cseprekál is the senior assistant lecturer of the Department of Transplantation and Surgery, Semmelweis University, Hungary. She has been working as a transplant physician after getting her internal and nephrology board exams. Her main focus of research interest are renal replacement therapies, transplant epidemiology, transplant immunology and the new diagnostic and treatment approaches of humoral rejection in kidney transplantation. As a Fulbright scholar she dealt with big data and its role in nephrology in University of Tennessee Health Science Centre, Memphis, TN. Dr Cseprekál is the president of the Hungarian Young nephrologist and hypertonologist board in the Hungarian Society of Nephrology and the Hungarian Society of Hypertension, broad member of the ERA EDTA YNP and the Junior Ambassador for USERN.
