Meet the Section Editor

Sohail Abdul Salim, Adjunct Faculty, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson Mississippi, USA

Dr. Salim is an American Board Certified Nephrologist practicing in Jackson Mississippi. He finished his Internal medicine residency in 2011 from Brookdale Hospital medical center and fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension from University of Mississippi. He has received early career physician award and best abstract awards. During the last 4 years he has authored around 50 peer-reviewed publications (most of them as first author), 2 book chapters and multiple Medscape articles. His research interests are in clinical nephrology especially nephrotoxic drugs and its implications in clinical practice.
