Shari R Lipner, MD, Phd, Department of Dermatology, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, USA

Dr Lipner is an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology, Director of the Nail Division and an Associate Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College where she obtained a BA in Chemistry. Dr Lipner undertook both her MD and PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her Residency training in Dermatology at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr Lipner is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatologic Society and Countril for Nail Disorders and is also the President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. Dr Lipner is board certified in Dermatology and has a wide range of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of skin disorders, She is an expert in nail disorders - including fungal diseases and nail tumors. Dr Lipner has authored over 170 peer-reviewed publications, numerous book chapters, lectures nationwide and is frequently sought out by the media for her expertise.
