            About The Journal

Animal Biotechnology is an international, peer-reviewed journal, which publishes high quality, original research contributions to scientific knowledge.

The increased access to articles published in Animal Biotechnology will ensure that key research is highly available to encourage further research and innovation, leading to significant developments in this field.

It is hoped that better access to important research in this field will lead to higher quality research as more credible information is freely available for researchers to learn from and add insight to.

As part of this transition to Open Access, all manuscripts received after the 25th April 2023 will proceed through Animal Biotechnology’s Open Access submission portal. Authors who submit after this date will, if their articles is accepted, be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) which can be covered by and author’s funder or institution.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and hope that you join us to embrace Animal Biotechnology’s Open Access future.

If your institution has an open access agreement with Taylor & Francis you could be eligible for a discounted article publishing charge or, in many cases, to publish open access in your chosen journal at no cost to yourself.
