International Conference on Frontiers in Probability and Statistics
We invite submissions to a Special Issue of Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods associated with the International Conference on Frontiers in Probability and Statistics from June 11 to 13, 2026. The special issue aims to highlight recent advances in probability and statistics inspired by the conference themes and the extensive scholarly impact of Professor N. Balakrishnan.
This special issue is primarily intended for conference presenters to ensure thematic coherence. However, in exceptional cases, submissions from outside the conference may be considered, and such authors should first consult with the Guest Editors before submission. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Distribution theory and new classes of distributions
- Order statistics, record values, and extreme value modeling
- Censoring methodologies and inference under incomplete or truncated data
- Reliability theory, life-testing, and survival analysis
- Outlier detection and robust inference
- Nonparametric, parametric, and Bayesian methods for reliability and lifetime data
- Statistical quality control and industrial statistics
- Applications of statistical methods to engineering, biomedical sciences, cybersecurity, and other emerging domains
