Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse

This special issue will be focused on the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) and implications for implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA).

As jurisdictions continue to navigate FFPSA implementation, critical questions remain about the role and impact of the Clearinghouse and how evidence-based practices are selected, delivered, and sustained.

The special issue invites articles addressing topics such as:

  • Ethical issues in the application of the Clearinghouse’s evidence standards and ratings in child welfare practice
  • Equity considerations in the selection and implementation of Clearinghouse-rated evidence-based practices
  • Empirical studies of child and family outcomes associated with FFPSA-funded services
  • Empirical studies of implementation of FFPSA-funded services, including obstacles and facilitators
  • The impact of Clearinghouse standards and procedures on evidence-based practice availability and implementation
