Advances in Mathematical Modeling and Optimal Control of Infectious Diseases
This issue will showcase mathematical models of infectious diseases which encompases;
-
Development of mathematical models to illustrate disease outcome management strategies
-
Application of optimal control techniques and related optimization tools in infectious disease modeling
-
Ordinary differential equation (ODE) models for transmission dynamics and intervention design
-
Difference equation models for discrete-time epidemic processes
-
Partial differential equation (PDE) models incorporating spatial or age structure
-
Stochastic models capturing uncertainty and random effects in disease spread
-
Comparative analysis of intervention strategies using mathematical frameworks
