Freeze Drying
Freeze drying is a critical technology in a range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, food, biotechnology, and materials science. As this field continues to evolve with new innovations in process modeling, scale-up strategies, energy efficiency, and quality control, we aim to bring together cutting-edge research and development that is advancing freeze drying science and applications.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
· - Fundamentals of freeze drying processes
· - Process optimization and control
· - Energy and cost efficiency improvements
· - Novel equipment and technologies
· - Applications in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food, and other sectors
· - Modeling, simulation, and scale-up strategies
· - Quality assurance and regulatory aspects
We encourage both original research papers and comprehensive review articles that address key challenges and emerging trends in freeze drying.
Submission Instructions
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system indicating that the submission is for the Freeze Drying special issue. Suitable submissions will be sent out for review as when received (not delayed until the submission deadline above)
