Baylor University Medical Center Proceedings is the peer-reviewed general medical and surgical journal of Baylor Scott & White Health that presents clinical articles of interest to practitioners. Baylor Scott & White Health is committed to innovation, collaboration, integrity, and compassion for the patient, and the journal attempts to highlight these values. Submissions from outside of the health care system are welcome.
Proceedings has an emphasis on clinical outcomes, value-based care, and health services research. The editor in chief, James W. Fleshman, MD, and deputy editor, Robert L. Gottlieb, MD, PhD, invite submissions aligned with these priorities.
There is a particular interest in original research papers and editorials on the integration of technology into health care.
