Plant responses to climate change

This article collection aims to shed new light on plant responses to ongoing climate change by collating studies that offer novel insights  We particularly encourage manuscripts that offer novel insights regarding plant ecological strategies (e.g. resource capture and use), short-term acclimation versus long-term adaptive responses, intra- or interspecific phenotypic variation, predictive models of future plant responses to environmental change, syntheses of previous studies, and more. Specifically, we welcome submissions that span the following topics.

  • Preliminary research using observational or manipulative experiments in the field and under controlled conditions
  • Manuscripts that showcase novel methods for assessing how plants respond to climate change, which may include laboratory, field, or analytical methods
  • Studies that synthesize and integrate previous studies on plant responses to climate change via a literature review, meta-analysis, or new analyses that integrate novel and existing data
  • Studies that challenge existing paradigms by presenting novel or conflicting data

Submission Instructions
