Radiation Therapies for Cancer
We are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for an Article Collection on Radiation Therapies for Cancer. Radiation therapy remains a cornerstone in the treatment of various cancers. With continuous advancements in technology and a deeper understanding of cancer biology, radiation therapies are becoming more precise and effective. This Collection seeks to explore these advancements, including novel radiation techniques, toxicity management, and integration of radiation therapies with other treatment modalities.
We invite papers on topics including but not limited to:
- Innovative radiation techniques, including proton therapy, carbon ion therapy, and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).
- Technological innovations in radiation oncology, including the development and implementation of technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) in clinical practice.
- Radiation therapy and immunotherapy combinations.
- Personalized radiation therapy
- Radiation-induced toxicity management
