Trade Unionism in the New Transnational Corporate World
The importance of this topic stems from the ongoing decline of trade unionism's role on the national and international political stage and its retrenching in a defensive and corporative posture as an actor of the industrial relations system. It adversely affected the living and working conditions of millions of people and weakened the democratic framework of many countries. The issue will contribute to all the social and political actors for a strategic consideration of the role of Trade Unions in the new economic and social framework.
