Advances in Nuclear Security and Nonproliferation: Insights from NNSA Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research and Development Supported University Consortia
We are pleased to announce a special issue of Nuclear Science and Engineering showcasing cutting-edge research and advancements in the field of nuclear security and nonproliferation. This special issue will highlight papers that emanate from collaborative efforts within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) university consortia, bringing together the expertise of leading researchers, scientists, and scholars from various institutions. You are invited to submit your work for consideration in the issue. If interested, please contact the special issue lead guest editor, Kyle C. Hartig, and/or submit directly into NSE’s peer review system.

Details:
▪ Your paper will go through the standard journal peer review process. This invitation is not a guarantee of acceptance or publication.
▪ Please be mindful of the article type when submitting your paper. See the descriptions on the Aims & Scope webpage here.
▪ Standard publication in NSE is free of charge. Open access publication is available for a fee ($2630 per paper).
▪ There is no restriction on length. Please follow submission guidelines at the journal’s website.
▪ Accepted papers are published online ahead of print, immediately following copyediting and typesetting—usually within 6 to 8 weeks.
